AXIS Bar + Kitchen is a new restaurant in Canmore and the second concept from the owner. With this space, the goal was to lean further into his passion for cuisine and create a brand that reflected the atmosphere of the experience itself - refined, welcoming, and a little more elevated.
Rather than feeling overly traditional or expected, the brand needed personality while still fitting naturally within the restaurant and the surrounding mountain town.

The brand was developed in collaboration with the interior designer to ensure everything felt cohesive - from the physical space to the visual identity. The goal was to create something modern, sleek, and timeless while still reflecting the warmth of the dining experience.
The icon was intentionally kept simple and bold, allowing it to function as a recognizable symbol across menus, signage, and digital applications. The result is a flexible identity system that can grow alongside the restaurant as it evolves.
